ADV7280-M video capture issue with i.MX6Q

Hi all,

We are trying to interface the ADV7280-M with the i.MX6Q processor. Our Linux driver follows the register

settings described in  the  'I2P AUTODETECT CVBS Single Ended In Ain 1, 480p/576p MIPI Out' section of

the ADV7280M_Cust-VER.4,1 scripts

An NTSC source is connected to AIN1 and the ADV7280-M seems to lock OK to the signal (STATUS1=0x0d,

STATUS2=0x00, STATUS3=0x69). However, we cannot grab any frames. The i.MX6 IPU never sees an

end-of-frame interrupt.

If we force the ADV7280-M to free run mode, then everything works OK. We can successfully capture and

display video at 60fps as expected.

Does anybody have any hints on where the problem may be?
