I decided to go against it and use the kiss rule.
DSP1 and DSP2 will have their own clock and feed MCLK the subsequent DSP's.
Also instead of crossing DSP signals I pulled the unused outputs to the side of the board and those can be routed back and forth if needed VIA an external jumper board.
DSP's have 50Ohm resistor networks on input as suggested in earlier post.
