Hi,
I have seen the announcement that the current Sharc DSP family will be providing the decoding of the Dolby Atmos signals, and I assume that they will be providing DTS:X capability too.
The question I have, is will Analog Devices be providing the decoding capability for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X as a standard product offering, or will people be required to provide the DSP code to decode the relevant signal stream themselves ?
If Analog Devices provide this capability, will there be a charge per device for the code or will capability be provided free assuming that the design authority has the relevant licence from Dolby and DTS ?.
Thanks and regards,
Richard.
