Hi All,
I am looking for some guidance and confirmation on a proposed new system. I currently have a design that is quite sophisticated in its implementation and requires the utmost in signal fidelity. The core of the system uses an AD1938 along with two ADAU1446 DSPs with one DSP acting as the master. While the system works perfectly, it is VERY costly, and I am working on a slimmed down version where cost savings are the main priority. By reducing the feature set I can get away with one ADAU1446, but the AD1938, as nice as it is, is extremely costly. I need 3 ADCs and a pair of DAC channels, all preferably single-ended to reduce circuit complexity. The ADAU1372 codec seems to fit the bill and is cost effective. Does anyone see any reason that this might not work with the ADAU1446?
Thanks,
ACW
