Hi,
I am currently using an FMCOMM3/Zedboard platform to Transmit a modulated signal at max power (zero attenuation), but when I stop sending I/Q modulation data I would like to minimize the TX output carrier to an absolute minimum without actually having to disable the TX chain or ramp up the TX attenuation?
Currently I send all zero's for I and Q data from the FPGA which reduces the carrier power.
Are there any techniques that I can use to eliminate the carrier (dc) component by using the data interface from the FPGA, thus removing processor/SPI control?
Kind Regards,
Andy
