Hi Marti,

 

I would recommend the following simple filter. The 1.0 uF AC coupling capacitors should be valued based on the input impedance of your amplifier, as you suggest. There is no need for a second AC coupling capacitor in the path. The (2) 1k00 and 1.0 nF capacitor for a pole around 80 kHz. You can adjust these values as desired to create a filter at a different frequency. I chose 1k00 for the series resistors to keep the loading on the DAC outputs reasonably high.
