I found a data sheet for the ADV7612 that lists the max pixel clock at 170MHz,
but then in another part of the data sheet it says it supports resolutions up
to 1600x1200.
I am used to working in the DVI world where pixel clock is all that matters. I assume
this is the same in the HDMI world, but that’s why I’m asking the professionals.
As for the ADV7511, I can not find a specification
of the maximum pixel clock. The max TMDS clock is listed as the same as the
7612 (225MHz), but I can’t find anything about the pixel clock or resolutions
supported. We're interested in these resolutions:
2048x1080 – 148.5MHz pixel clock
2048x1200 – 163.5MHz pixel clock
Also, if you had more detailed datasheets on each of these parts that would be
useful.
Any information you could provide would be very helpful.
