Hi Charly,
Our customer measured about the carrier cross talk at Rx part Mixer.
Do you have the good solution idea to fix this cross-talking?
Customer will built the AM scalar network analyzer by your AD-FMCOMMS1-EBZ.
Please refer to my enclosed pictures.
Customer made 2.4GHz signal as carrier that was driven by FPGA.
RF out ---(SMA cable) --- external attenuator (step 10dB) --- (SMA cable) ----RF in
Tx local Osc.=2.36GHz and 40MHz freq offset
Rx local Osc.=2.4GHz
Please refer to my enclosed the scope pictures.
After step down 0, -10,-20,,,,,-70dB by attenuator, you can confirm that there is no reducing the 2.4GHz peak after -50dB.
This seems cross talking you said I think.
Customer is trying to fix this as the way following.
After receive at RF in part, FPGA offset the base band signal on carrier (not offset the carrier), and attenuate 50dB only the carrier by band pass filter.
How do you think this way?
Thanks Kaos
