1) Would you mind taking a photograph of the boundary box test pattern on your output.

2) I would advise programming the ADV7280 into free-run mode using the recommened free-run script and then write to User Map registers 0x8B and 0x8C.

3) In your example I2C writes e.g. {0x14, 0x15, 0x00, 0x00}, what are the last two hexadecimal words ? Are you writing 0x00 to User Map register 0x00 ?
