I am wondering if there is an error in the ADM3053 datasheet with regards to the power dissapation for this part.
Rev. B | Page 3 of 20 of the datasheet shows the following values for 1mbps operation:
That works out to 700.28mW of power (from VCC=5V and VIO=3.3V).
If you continue reading to page 8, you see this:
650mW of power when fully loaded. Wait, what? What conditions gave us 650mW of power?
Is there any more thermal information for this part? The datasheet seems pretty vague with some details.
