Re: design a low pass filter for the daq input

I fill the necessary information on the filter wizard as follows

 

Gain-6dB

-3dB=40Mhz

Stop band=50Mhz (nyquist frequency of my daq card)

Gain at F stop frequency as (6 dB - 60 dB) as I found the information on the AN699 application note

60 dB is the SNR value of the daq card

 

Finally, I got the error message as follows

 

No Lowpass filter solution found with order ≤ 10.

Options:

- Decrease passband frequency

- Increase stopband frequency

- Increase passband attenuation

- Decrease stopband attenuation

 

My question, is that impossible to create a filter on above parameter or did I insert the incorrect information on to the filter wizard

 

Because I really do not understand the Gain at F stop frequency of my daq card
