Where are you looking for the hardware result ?
What have you searched about 9122 CORE / I2C control ? How did you compile 9122~.v project ?
Via engineering zone we can offer support on setting up and using the reference design and reference software (NO-OS and Linux based). Because of the large number of possible variations and many variables that are specific to each project, it is hard (sometimes impossible) to offer support on custom projects.
I think that the best way to learn about the project is to run the No-OS example. After you are able to run the project on hardware, you can add you own custom code. You could also use the Evaluate scripts, to simply run the precompiled software/hardware as a first step.
Regarding the theory, have you studied the FMCOMMS1 project schematic / user guide ? the datasheet for AD9122 ? the schematic and user guide for ML605 ?
